Quite agree. While it does not concern us, I am gradually getting turned off football, and if it wasn't for my son would think twice about going.

Football needs to take a good hard look at itself and who the paying customers are, because in the main they are the people who are in danger of losing their job etc.

I would love the Football League to break away from the Premiership, at least we would have a more level playing field as far as finances were concerned, and the Football League clubs are in the main supported by proper long standing supporters rather then corporations.

Obviously this will never happen because of the TV revenue and there will be too many Championship clubs who could not bear to be seperated from the meal ticket that is promotion to the Premiership.
