Yeah thanks for that ray of sunshine. How about you stay away from the Withdean, just in case your miserableness rubs off on the players

Look I'm trying to be helpful here. I'm tempting the gods to bring us good fortune by underplaying our chances, as we do in cricket.
Don't worry I'll be there cheering the lads on and throwing my cardi in the air!

I think England being thrashed is having a damaging effect on Walsall's morale as well..

Yeah, but lets not forget how truly appalling things could be. Imagine England getting raped by the Convicts and suddenly realising that you live and work in Walsall! should tip them over the edge.

It's just grand to have proper football back. Looking forward to giving SALDE a big warm welcome, and to singing the FDM song. Perhaps he'll treat us to a mazy dribble! Anything else is a bonus :albion1:

In the 60's and 70's Walsall were close to being our number one bogey team.
On that memorable night, in October 1976, after a dreadful first 45 minutes at the Goldstone ( in the pouring rain ! )Walsall looked like extending that run.
It was 0-0 and BHA were awful.
A friend standing next to me, had had enough and went home muttering something about " bloody Walsall "
Alan Mullery had other ideas - sent the team back out after about 3 minutes - bollocked and embarrassed, they then destroyed Walsall 7-0 in the next 28 minutes !
That was the bogey gone forever...as far as I'm concerned.

No, I tell you, the omens are favorable. I have examined the entrails of a series of sacrificial animals, and I tell you all is well. Two-nil the Albion, or all those critters died in vain. (I can give you who scores, and when, but that depends on which birds I observe in the morning, and where and how they fly.)
