We have been lucky to get this far. Colombia were the equivalent of a poor championship team - should have brushed them aside with the players we have.

Something isn't cohesive or gelling.........it's something to do with the midfield / lack of decent wingers.

Hopefully it all clicks - but I think the players will be knackered and lose to Sweden.

The only thing that worried me was a bit of naivety we showed in the final few minutes of the 90 in not being able to close the game out.

But, as has been said elsewhere, who gives a flying **** right now, we're through.

Absolutely this. Why is our GK taking a free kick 20 yards outside his box to launch it forward. Surely someone should be playing it back to him to waste more time.

Exaggerating. Colombia's players are with top clubs such as Juve.

Our play and threats, put them on the back foot, and drew the antics/violence. That stopped all fluidity, as with many WC2018 games where one team wants to destroy the flow.

Do agree that dribbling flopped tonight. The players who go on those runs, didn't look up, kept the ball too long and were never going to beat 4 men.

Absolute drivel. I think you were watching a different game. Some people hate to see England doing well. It wasn't our finest performance but it was enough to get through to the next round.

You would have been astonished by the 5live phone in the last hour. Call after call from Englishmen (definitely not Scots!) slagging off Kane (no pace, lack of non-pen goals, etc) and England's WC showing in general.

Unbelievable callers on radio currently. One saying Kane is no good and should be dropped for Vardy. Another morning about lack of England’s chances. As Sutton says, England in the QF and won a penalty shoot out plus have top scorer on tournament!
