On another thread it is reported that Gus has flown to Barbados which I would think is more plausible. Back next Wednesday having identified a loan striker has left others to sort out the details of wages etc, which is not his problem. He also was saying that a striker would be in by 28th. Having said that I don't think that Adkins would take the job now perhaps in the summer after they have been relegated and to get them back up but not to take them down.
