**The OFFICIAL 2010 WC Panini sticker trade thread**

Spun Cuppa

Thanks Greens :(
Does anybody do the sticker collections for these events?

I did the '98 WC collection, but got moved on when loitering outside school gates looking for 'swopsies', so any takers or thoughts on this collection?

Perhaps we could have a monthly meet to trade?

We'd finish 'em quicker than Algeria's elimination...

Back in the day, I remember spending most of my school lunch money on Panini stickers. f***ing waste of money.

On second thoughts, count me in! Bet I can complete the Honduras national team before you.

I thought this might be your cup of tea

A weekly kickabout/swopsie meet will have to be arranged

Why, is there a Panini Family Enclosure next to the Stanley Deason pitches?

Mexico 86 was my first ever completed album, I think South Africa 10 might well be time to come out of my Panini retirement and see if I can re-create that IMMENSE feeling of 86.

its one of the single best things about being an adult, being able to buy as many packs of stickers as you f***ing want.

haha, I'm IN !!

I did the '98 one as well. More importantly though, I used to do it every season. My favourite season was probably Premier League '96. Flair players like Phillippe Albert, Faustino Asprilla, Peter Schmeichel...

Also, how gutted did you feel when you got a packet, baring in mind, I was only 9 at the time, so it was one/two packets a week, to realise you had them all..Oh, and I was desperate to go to the swapshops...

Do they still do the shiny team badges?... My god, that was the best feeling in the world, whipping a shiny badge out amongst 5 average footballers with moustaches that you already had!

I think there should be a rule that you cant have more than 10 packets a week!

It wont be as fun when you go into the shop and buy the whole box!!

I am presently contemplating how embarrassed I will be as a grown man popping into my local newsagent to buy Panini stickers. Then again, that North Korean team page isn't going to complete itself is it?

Yes, it is a slight issue as a grown man to go in to a newsagents with a sexy girl behind the counter and ask for a pack of Panini 2010 stickers... I think it'll be a case of bribing some kids to go in for me to get them and in return I'll go in after and buy them some beer.

:jester:

P.S. Does anyone know a release date for the album yet?!!!

We are going to have to hire out a function room in a pub once a week for swop nights, and I mean stickers, not girlfriends or wives!
