I've had a quick search & couldn't find a thread, so here it is.

I suppose like most, the start of Le Tour, got lost in amongst the World Cup.

It's a shame the whole drugs tainting has come up yet again, & has blasted the tour wide open, before it's even started. Watching last night it was quite disturbing to see all the bags of blood being 'unpacked' by the police.

I now have no idea who might win, but at least Le Tour is heading back to Alp d'Heuz. It was also good to see such a disorganised race yesterday.

Hove, f***ing ACTUALLY.
Just back from 3 weeks in Brittany at Chateux Roougers, saw loads of signs and preperation going on, but disapointed that the tour is not going through Northern Brittany this year as last year is passed us in Ploncoet and the atmosphere is astounding.

wherever the money is
both the favourites have been banned from the race so it is very open this year.

A verry open race this year. Ive followed it for over a decade and have been to see it twice. Should be a good race this year. Our two riders, Wiggins and Millar had a dissapointing Prolouge. Good to see them up in the top 20 in the GC. Hopefully they can callenge for a Time trial stage win later. Dissapointed about the drugs scandal though, lets hope we dont return to the dark old days of 1998.

Got to feel sorry for the T-Mobile rider today, being caught less than 100metres from the line.

nothing unusual in le tour though. It is amazing how well judged the chases are.

I saw the Tour De Swiss go through Schoenried many moons ago, very exciting it was!
I used to love watching the Tour De Frogs.

They were saying yesterday that there are all sorts of people from other sports (including football) implicated in the blood doping.
