According to Scally it wasnt! I think they had or have some kind of embargo on them cos of some money borrowed, but not sure if it restricted them buying/selling players in the transfer window.

I think Gills have made it known that he wont be a Gills player next season so I suppose if they can offload him now rather than later they will, cos they are up to their eyeballs in it!
