I have already bought my season ticket blindly without even looking at the prices. I will always follow the Albion, even when they upset me (95-97). To a certain extent, the cost is immaterial. If I can afford it, I'll go - if not, I'll listen the radio.

To quote The Beatles, when it comes to the Albion "I don't care too much for money, cos money can't buy me love..."

Falmer is a pipe dream even in the remotest chance it was built, do you really think the cost of tickets would go down? unlikely as Silent would says its then to pay for this or that or something anything after all they could be repaying the legal bill for many a year to come, so why would travelling fans want Falmer? More difficult to get to for them for starters and I cant see it being less expensive in fact it could very well cost a lot more as Sielnt will claim you will then be parking your backside on a modern seat in a modern stadium etc etc so may in fact charge more!

I wasn't necessarily talking about the cost, I was thinking of what you get for what you pay, the chance not to get soaking wet, better noise, better atmosphere etc etc

I was thinking about this last night, and the sad thing is,it is cheaper for me and my kids to watch Pompey play in the Premiership than it is to watch the Albion play(,not that I would ever go there to watch them!!)

And being so expensive and also asking for the money in March,it has forced me and my 2 sons not to renew our tickets this season, and for the first time since we moved to Gillingham I wont be there this season.

An interesting fact for you though.

If you were a Season Ticket holder at Fratton Park, all you had to do is pay a Deposit of £100.00 by the end of March and that Gauranteed you a Season Ticket for this season, and all they had to pay is the remainder by June.:p

Why couldnt The Albion done something along those lines??

i'am going to watch a pre-season friendly at parkhead on saturday.an adult ticket for this game is £17.00 only.not bad to watch celtic vs arsenal.and the gate will be at least 60.000.then next week i will be at ibrox.a ticket for rangers vs arsenal is only
£17.00 as well.and you can get a season ticket at ibrox for £260.00.so good old mr knight and the board.i'am sure they seem to know what they are doing when it comes to over priced season tickets to watch the albion.whats the point of paying up front for a season ticket when there is no improvement on the playing staff yet again pre-season.it is all down to the falmer thing yet again.hands tired behind our backs.
