Frutos, quality player last season really don't get what happened this season. Hope he comes back in preseason and shows us the player he really is

I dont think hes had a fair crack of the whip. Plays once then dropped again. Robinson , plays crap match after match and keeps his place. I dont get it.

I imagine it was because on one of Fruties rare home outings he tried to decapitate an oposing player in what was obviously a fit of pique. Disgusting assault of a challenge that left Wilkins no choice but to put him in the stiffs.

Frutos has been utter toilet all season I am afraid.

Robinson. He simply hasn't been good enough, occasional flashes and signs that suggest he has something to offer but he's getting on now and he isn't really showing many signs of improvement. Hopefully he can prove me wrong next season but on the basis of what I've seen this season perhaps it would be best to move him on now.

Hardly 'getting on'. He's still only 20.

I don't recall Kevin Keegan, Gary Lineker, Mark Farrington et al being the finished article at 20.

Consider where he was this time last season - a fringe player. He has had a much better season than he did last year, starting most games, learning his craft in a division he has never played in before, scoring his highest tally of goals (admittedly not enough), and generally showing skills and commitment beyond his youth. That, for me, is an improvement - the path is still on the upward trend for young Jakey.

Next season could be a tough, yet vitally imporant one for him, mind. But it is also about managing our own expectations.

That i agree with.Next season really is a big one for Jakey. He needs to improve his all round game.He certainly has it in him to succeed

Robinson, overhyped, once dubbed the South Coast Rooney (ha ha ha ha), everyone keeps saying next year is his year but that's been going on for four years now, the simple fact is you won't make a footballer if you are SCARED of a football.

Again Robinson.

Over hyped by some on here. Has shown the odd flash by too often is not involved in the game. Also he seems scared of the physical side of the game, at Brentford he did not fancy a tussle with their centre back and so dissapeared on to the wing.

I know he is slight, but Cox does not shy away from the physical side.

How many more seasons can we say this will be the year Robinson comes good?

Robinson.

Too much expectation. He is too timid and shirks challenges. Also, his goalscoring is not what it should be. Was Huddesfield away the last league game he scored in?

Presumably one more as I think next year his contract runs out.... so it really is make or break. He has the ability for sure, that is what will be a shame if he doesn't make it.

Voted for Frutos, good player in the Championship, bad player in League One, doesn't add up. :glare:

Clearly Frutos, but Robinson is still learning. Hopefuly he will bulk up a bit over the summer because he needs more strength and weight to compete over a full season.

well compare Robinson with Zamora.

Zamora came to us as a 19 year old and within a year nearly broke the club scoring record.

Robinson is now a year older than that, and can only score agaianst non league teams...................

I had hoped that Albert Jarrett would have fulfilled his potential. Whever I saw him he played well, but with little help/ team to work with.

He got found out at Watford who shipped him out to MK Dons.
