Why are all minute silences always 'impeccable' or 'impeccably observed'?
Is there no other way of describing them? Really?
Mind you, I do recall then England manager Glenn Hoddle describing the minute's silence held at Wembley after Diana's death as "the best minute's silence I've ever heard..."
