Franny Molinari galloping clear of the field but plenty two shots behind him. Rory struggling and he's not on his own there.

All to play for as they head to the weekend. Plenty in with chances with the machine betting being at least 7/1 the field. Let’s hope we are all in a good mood to watch tonight’s round.

This has certainly taken my mind off the shite at The Amex Today.

Franny Molinari has been imperious again Today, he putts like a machine.

For those liking a bet I think the following are very good prices for the majors this year and I fancy he may snaffle another one, as well as The Masters...

USPGA 30/1 Bet £3.65
US Open 33/1 Coralbrokes
The Open 25/1 Bet £3.65

Tiger looking great too and Tomorrow has the makings of a great days golf. They are teeing off early Tomorrow with leaders going off at 09:20 local time so an afternoons entertainment rather than a late night. Thunderstorms forecast during the afternoons so hopefully they will get it all done.

So many big names in the mix, so many players in form and the course is playing beautifully. But stormy weather is on its way.

Live coverage already started - tee times have been brought forward due to a weather warning, so no late evening entertainment. Leaders are due to start imminently.

Edit: De Chambeau just gets hole in one on the 16th (started on the 10th). Poulter just started.

Three shot lead for Franny now. Scoring not as good as expected from those near the top of the leaderboard and -14/15 should be enough.

Shame about that.

One of my 'look forward to' moments of every year is watching the final round of the Masters deep into Sunday evening in April, in front of a crackling a log fire with a few glasses of cold beer. Early Sunday evening just doesn't feel the same.
