Tedious chump
Would anyone care for a free ticket for Daniel Kitson and Gavin Osborn at the Dome tonight? I can leave it at the box office.
I bet Killing Joke will be fun

Post Preston I'm off to the DLW to see The Tallest Man On Earth. Some tix remaining I believe. Worth a gander if you like your guitar led folk based singer song writer stuff.
Went to this out of curiosity and came away determined to invest in some of his recorded output. A fantastic evenings entertainment..
A tough choice between Slug and Godspeed You tomorrow evening and gone for the latter. Slug are great live and reduced price tickets available here

Godspeed. Wow.
Indeed. Spent the entire two hours totally immersed. I just loved the fact that the crowd stayed put at the very end watching the guy go round turning off the amps which in itself was part of the show. My only thought- we were right in the middle- is that they could have turned it up a fraction. Missed the support who I am told were very good.
Immense night - a real wall of sound at times. My companion had not seen/heard them before and is converted. I was upstairs middle circle and it was plenty loud enough up there - ears humming nicely this morning. I noticed a couple of different people leave 2/3rds of the way through - weird as you'd not think they would attract the casual listener.
I can only guess they had trains to catch! Standing downstairs emptied a bit but that was due to people retreating to the seats. Happy to say that my knees held out for the duration.
Yup, absolutely loving the new album after a dozen or so listens this past week. Can't wait for tonight.Deerhunter tonight at All Saints Hove. Cannot wait. Love the new album and haven't seen them for far too long after their 2013 cancellation. Still tickets available, unbelievably!

GY!BE we're amazing the other night. One of the best gigs I've seen I a while. Really good, respectful, crowd as well. The Dome just cannot be beaten anywhere for a mid size arts venue.
They announced the timetable for Mutations festival today. Really disappointing. Like the concept of this and would love to support a local festival but the line up just isn't worth £50 for me. Assume the 'big name' that someone was referring to earlier in thread is this John Talabot B2B set but it's not that big a deal for me - such a shame it wasn't Thee Oh Seas as a few predicted. Hopefully it will do well and next years line up will be a little more impressive/to my taste!

It wasn't Talabot. Is the line up finished then?
Too ill to go to GYBE or Deerhunter. Probably the worst week of the year to contract the virus from hell.
