I can't think the comment could be aimed at me. I was wrong in not reading it all and reacted. I am an unknown quanitity to many on this board - most people think I am a man. I have just checked and I am definitely NOT! Its not a big deal anyway - when I read it again I thought "D'oh".

Now, about this Irony bloke - I definitely haven't taken to him.

Very good LI, unfortunately there's always a couple of, er, how can I put this politely, - 'simple souls' - who can't understand not so much irony as impressions - they probably thing Rory Bremner really IS Tony Blair. I did a similar thing once and suffered the same fate. It's a problem I suppose when you aim sophisticated humour at people who thought that "Open All Hours" was a good comedy series.

Well what a pile of crap that was! Magoo you haven't a clue you ****. You've embarassed us in front of the entire TV nation. Let's face reality - we are just not good enough and have to write off the rest of this season, let's sit back and enjoy our drift down to mid-table mediocrity. We are just not good enough to compete at the top of the division and we need to sit down right now and make a list of players who are shit and we have to get rid of at the reason of the season, if not before, unless that **** Dick Tight hasn't already given them 5-year contracts. We need a huge clear-out and the sooner the better. Why the feck hasn't that Oatway been rumbled yet, he couldn't even cut in Division 3 and what the hell does Coco have to do to get dropped. Why didn't I join those sensible people and watch the game in the pub instead of that hopeless soulless running track where there was no singing at all of "Falmer", "Sussex by the Sea" and "top of the league, you're 'avina a larf". Frankly, I've had enough and will be only watching the Albion now at away games televised at a convenient moment when "I'm a celebrity..." isn't on. I'm sure all the sensible people on NSC who don't have their head in the clouds about the dire direction Magoo and Tight are taking this club in will wish to join me in these heart-felt sentiments.

Nice one - I'm a little worried about the reactions you're getting mate, but please don't dumb down. Empathy over sympathy for the simple!

Since I made my original statement at the top of this thread, I have been contacted by the office of some **** of a unionist judge to say that he regards the unfounded statements I made against the management of Albion as a very grave and serious matter.

On reflection, I now accept that the allegations I made against Mr Knight and Mr McGhee were wholly untrue and I apologise unreservedly to them.

My downfall was that I based my statement on a single source who claimed to be an expert in his field, but in fact turned out to be some gobshite who can't even tie his shoelaces properly. My source, a Mr FG, has since tragically committed suicide by disappearing up his own arse.

In order to restore public confidence in such a venerable British media institution as North Stand Chat, I have decided to take the honourable course and I have reluctantly offered my resignation to the mods, which they have accepted.

I hope this now draws a line under this sad episode, particularly if it is drawn in nice colours with one of those whizzy felt-tipped pens.
