This is largely where I am too.I've never really understood the antipathy towards Gillingham.
At least they let us use their ground when nobody else did.
It might not have been a great experience, but it saved us at the time
Where else could we have gone?
Same here. They charged us rent eh? Wouldn't anyone have done the same including us?This is largely where I am too.

Er, yes yes I know.By the way it is the "Gills".
This. In addition Paul Scally no longer controls the club - I'm assuming it's Scally most people have a problem with rather than the club itself. You'd think most people here would have slightly more sympathy for a club that has had a very dodgy owner for so long. Anyway, they were my late Dad's team so I don't want to see them drop out of the league - much rather it was Chelsea !I've never really understood the antipathy towards Gillingham.

Crawley, but I can't remember the reason why we couldn't.Where else could we have gone?
And me.This is largely where I am too.
Is it not pronounced as Jill's though ?New majority owner so locals who support them are waiting to see whether there is any investment. He recently referred to them as " sleeping giants " so he obviously is a bit clueless. By the way it is the "Gills".
Self flagellation in a football senseAgree with other posters. The Gills let us use their ground and we survived. I've no ill feeling towards them at all.
In some ways, I used to like the trips in the car out to Priestfield. I was often alone. Got to listen to 606 on the way back and all the match build-up on the way out there. It was like some sort of penance for a couple of years.
I've no hard feelings towards the Gills.
I have a feeling that Crawley didn't want us to attract bigger crowds than them at their own ground. They feared that some of their fans would switch allegiance to us.Crawley, but I can't remember the reason why we couldn't.
