Due to considerable interest shown in the fortunes of NSC's adopted "one-to-watch" I think it's time we had an official thread to show our support.

The Sweepstake will run for the length of the season and the winner will be the person who gets the most points under the following rules.

1. Post in this thread your prediction for how many runs Carl will score in his next innings. Only posts in this thread will count.

2. Once a prediction range has been taken no-one else can guess the same score.

3. Each innings will allow a maximum of 15 players to get involved choosing from the following options:

0-3
4-7
8-11
12-15
16-19
20-22
23-25
26-28
29-31
32-34
35-38
39-44
45-54
55-69
70+

4. The winning player (or closest if less than 15 selections) will get 3 points, the next two closest get 1 point each. I will adjudicate and keep a league table.

5. The prize for the winner will be an item of valuable CD Hopkinson memorabilia.

Caveat: 16-19 if Sussex need to bat again!
the current set of predictions are for "2nd innings v Kent"... if we win by an innings then all selections will be void and do not carry forward

Can I have 4-7 as a standing order ?
I suppose we could actually do that... it is moving the goalposts a bit but will simplify matters (with an unexpected "free" day due to the teacher's strike - I was meant to be visiting a school - I'm quite up for some ridiculous timewasting today but thinking ahead to the rest of the season, and weekends in particular, it might be better if people stick to their original selections...)

I reckon Alex Dawson has got the prime pick....

so there you go... I'm not listening to any whinging - the remaining selections are up for grabs and then the shop will close

interrupt: GREAT WORK from Leesy there...:lolol:  ("he's caught... no he isn't... looked like he was...")

a technical question...

Can I listen to Leesy and get the sound on the Ronnie match (both on my computer)?
