This place sells Carlsburg at £2.25 a pint so is not the most classy of pubs! I have just bought a house 2 mins walk away from it so hoping it will improve into one of those nice pizza pubs like the Stoneham!

I'm heading up to north London shortly. Flying Scotsman awaits and then the best pub for real ale, The Bricklayers Arms in Finchley before Barnet v Dagenham & Redbridge on a complimentary ticket.

The Nevill has done just this and the food is great.

As for the Grenadier, unfortunately its been the subject of a real smack problem in the last few months and in order to try and clean the place up they've resorted to door staff for almost all of its opening hours. They've also closed the entrance to the larger bar so that everybody going in and out has to go past the door staff
