Well was it Englands? We had top Premier League players, one of the greatest ever European manager, a fantastic qualifying campaign and then we just discombobulated.
We had a group of USA, Algeria and Slovenia and we struggled to get out of that and now we have been beaten 4-1 by a team of Germans who have maybe 3 world class players and the German equivalent of Owen and Walcott upfront. f***ing disgrace. Here are the things I have noted.
Capello was way to stubborn, surprisingly after 2 years is f***ing shit at English, would not play 4-5-1 and despite being Italian couldn't even teach his team of "great" players to defend or retain possession.
HOWEVER
One massive thing is the players. Did any of them look remotely interested that they had been beaten? No tears, no nothing and despite the rubbish tactics they should have had the beating of Algeria and the USA anyway.
Ah well Wimbledon and lets not forget The Albion to come next. NEVER again will I be interested in the England football team and I applaud those of you who have disregarded it this time and yes, that is the first time I have said that...
Anyway just remember...
