i quite liked that different parts of the ground were slightly out of sync, because we basically got 2 doses of the 'brighton' bit

'BRIGHTON! BRIGHTON!'

Only on a Brighton forum can fans argue with each other about a fantastic outpouring of support for a beleaguered side battling their hearts out against the odds....some people need to take a look in the mirror.

If that becomes a standard that we sing at every game and inspires the players and gets everyone in the ground jumping around and having a great time, then so be it.

To those miserable fuckers who didn't like it or are too f***ing cool to join in then you know what...good for you. Don't go and let the rest of us have a f***ing good time.

Rant over.

Btw. Anyone else agree with budgies comments that gus and his behaviour towards 4th officials is not helping our disciplinary record?

It was amazing. If it happens again i for one will join in - everyone stood and swung scarfs - brilliant!

It was brilliant. A steward did have to politely ask me to not stand on my seat and bounce. I duly obliged. Great song, incredible atmosphere. The north stand was simply mindblowingly brilliant yesterday, in fact the whole bloody stadium was. What a way to lift the boys, we were the 10th, 11th AND 12th man.

Given it was 11 players plus 4 officials against 9 men surely we were the 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th AND 15th man !!!!!

anyone remember plymouth away about 10 years ago, got a 0-0 draw with 10 men, think it was a cup game. we sung it for about 70 minutes.

i keep thinking about the disaster yesterday but get happy thoughts from it...and this would be why.

This. After the 2nd red I decided we were going to get thumped so ended up being able to enjoy the atmosphere and in the end was quite pleased with the result. This is of course as long as I don't watch the replay of Barnes red!

Brilliant atmosphere :) How does the "We love you, we love you" chant go that is starting to be sung in all the stands and not just the North Stand?

For those of us listening in , it was brilliant. :O Some of the YouTube vids didn't seem to pick up the atmosphere at its best.

most YouTube vids done on phones aren't good, especially if the person holding the phone sings themselves! - Tomnorthi's is decent (called something like North Stand Bouncing v Burnley)

I thought it was brilliant, up in the South West corner, most of the disabled folk were singing along with it. That was the first time that I have seen us all singing up there. But the circumstances were exceptional that day. Would we be able to sustain it on an ordinary afternoon? I would like to think so, because united we sounded absolutely top drawer.
