With 10 days to go time to ramp up the interest in this the greatest ever horse race in the World and I would say the greatest single sporting spectacle of the clender anywhere ocross the World.

The method i use has worked every year since Monty's Pass won it in 2003. So far i have narrowed the field down to Numbersixvalverde, Kelami, Point Barrow, Bewley's Berry, Longshanks, Silver Birch, Joes Edge and finally A New Story.

Royal Auclair would bring up quite a double for his owner, who also owns Kauto Star.

He's only got four horses in training, it would be incredible if he could get the Gold Cup/National double up with two of them.

Think Point Barrow has a huge chance, btw, and wouldn't be surprised to see L'Ami start favourite on the day thanks to the McManus-McCoy factor, so the 18 on Betfair at the mo is very fair if you're looking to back-to-lay.
