March 31 - last ever gig at the Palais, apparently.

Now Im grown up and playing in a band,
And theres a car park where the palais used to stand.
My sisters married and she lives on an estate.
Her daughters go out, now its her turn to wait.
She knows they get away with things she never could,
But if I asked her I wonder if she would,

Come dancing,
Come on sister, have yourself a ball.
Dont be afraid to come dancing,
Its only natural.

Come dancing,
Just like the palais on a saturday.
And all her friends will come dancing
Where the big bands used to play.

Bath, Somerset.
Ironic, given that Paul Simonon's former band recorded the absolute classic 'White Man in Hammersmith Palais'.

'Hah, you think it's funny, turning rebellion into money.'

Thats shocking, they're knocking all the decent venues down.

Hammy Pally, Leccy Ballroom, the Astoria.. shame.

Anyone want tickets for this at face value? I have two spare.

Going to eBay lunchtime Thursday, if no one here wants 'em.

I would go if I could. Possibly would wear my Blur T-Shirt. Which, incidentally, one member of NSC owns a photo of me wearing it.

Who said it was a she? It could be an individual confused about their gender and sexuality!

I would hazard a guess its more a confusion over sexuality thing:lolol:
