Went along to good 'ol Withers today to watch Albion Ladies v Spurs and it was a pretty decent came before over 450 enthusiastic fans.
Albion played really well and some smooth passing & hitting the woodwork twice but the Spurs team, apparently on a run of defeats, sneaked a 1st half goal and their confidence visibly rose as they took everything Albion could muster in the 2nd half and then added a late 2nd.
Interesting afternoon, loads of ladies in the crowd and loads of young kids who, despite the chill in the air and the lack of an Albion goal, really gave some good support right to the end. Hard fought game played in a good spirit.
