4 million kids in poverty is a relative term. The measure of poverty is a percentage of average income. There are very few kids actually living in real poverty, not enough food, lack of shelter, no education etc..

Homelessness abolished? Will never happen, unless you force people into prison or workhouses. Some people fall out of the bottom end of society, this will always happen no matter how far wealth is redistributed.

NHS waiting lists and beds. Tough topic. An ageing population means more and more money will need to be poured into the NHS, where is the correct level of taxation to support this. I do not have the answer for everybody, we all need to make a judgement on that one.

Drug addicts? Self inflicted in most cases.

Police officers using food banks. Utterly self inflicted, just spend less money or have less kids. They earn a decent wage.

Interest rates and unaffordable homes. I call BS, if working just do less of new phones, wide screen TVs, socialising, holidays etc etc.. We all like these things but when saving for a first home you give it up. Oh, and the new car on finance.

You’re almost as out of touch with reality as Johnson.

Totally unbelievable “I’m alright Jack” attitude.

Why do old people think shitty memes are funny?

It’s odd, because Chicken Run has said he’s not on Facebook yet all his “amusing” visual gags have been doing the rounds on there five minutes before he posts them on here. I guess he must just get lucky with his google searches

Not long ago people kept talking about "not burdening future generations with debt",sadly this seems to have been forgotten yet its still relevant. Worrying when people talk of borrowing unprecedented since the seventies adding to our already huge debts.

And best off out of this country as far as possible.
I hope for your sake that care for the mentally ill is much better in Australia than it is in this country.

Johnson’s comments reported in The Times today seem to confirm what a lot of us always believed,
Brexit is mainly a xenophobic and racist excercise.

shows one of if not the major flaw of Johnson, he doesn't really know how to be a politician. at simplest level, watch it give some consoling words about how it will be looked into. things like this is why im not convinced he set out to be were he is.

Don't worry, Labour have got it covered with the billions and billions sitting on the sidelines waiting to be invested. :wozza:

Not the point, it's clear that all he does is stick to a script and to bring it back to BREXIT.

And they're about to pull it off. Winning an election with a fraction of the scrutiny that the opposition got. The BBC tried, Channel 4 were threatened. We know our place.
