You did threaten him. It’s quoted a few posts ago. On this page.

If you're sad enough to look up these posts, you will see the trolling from Watford, so I said back off.

I didn't say I am going to smash you f******* lights out.

Like I said, a sensitive soul.

Sadly I fear that too many will fall for the usual Tory con trick. The right wing press will always find something or create something that can be conflated to erode any opposition to the Tories. I am still staggered that despite the obvious and repeated lies and evasion of Johnson he is still expected to win.

If you look around at the country that we have become, you see everything falling apart, roads rail and societal support for the most vulnerable all because the press will make many believe that a bloke on £80K a year can't afford to contribute £20 a week more to society.

This. My sector (higher education, medical education, biomedical research) is a joke. My institute is a complete mess. The trains are a joke (3 carriages on one from Fav to London last week - no expanation - yet huge numbers of uniformed station staff wandering about and chatting at the station and on the train - but not checking tickets). The roads are pot-holed, bloody dangerous for a cyclist, reminds me of when I drove around in Slovakia 30 years ago. But, as BG would say, it was even worse under labour, and it will get even worse if labour get in. Obviously.

Also, yes, I had forgotten that Boris has no workable Brexit plan and intends us to tumble out with no deal, expecting the EU to be panicked into a sellotape and drawing pin temporary fix, semi permeable border with the Irish, and everything 'working out in the end'.

A national disgrace.

Threatening to be in his face “every minute of every day”? And you point the finger at someone else for stalking! Are you Boris?

You promised us blood on the streets if we didn’t leave on October 31st. The blood was “days away” according to you. Thankfully, you were wrong. Own it.

Sometimes I wonder why I have certain people on ignore.

Oh, hang on. No. No, I don't.

So far today:

- Tory candidate says disabled people should be paid less – because they ‘don’t understand money’

- Boris runs away from Neil and Etchingham.

- Corbyn releases a government report confirming the disastrous effect the WA will have on NI, that there will be a border and that Boris has been caught lying yet again.

Was he trolling you or challenging you? You seem like the sensitive one here.

You Brexiteers/Tory lot are always harping on about snowflakes and lefties getting upset. Between you, Chicken Run and Two Profs I can’t recall a time when people got so upset with other people’s posts.
You don’t like someone on here? Ignore them, go and engage with people you do like. Have an untyped thought.

It's utterly damning reading through the detail, and I would imagine makes it basically impossible it will get any support from the Unionists in NI.

It certainly is and a Tory government pushing through a crap Brexit deal will make the country worse off for generations if not permanently. Expect many years of " belt-tightening " in order to be " Competetive", ie cheaper, in the World market, with vacuous promises of Jam Tomorrow that will never materialise.

Boris Johnson condemned for ‘people of colour’ comment

Plenty of people now picking up on something Boris Johnson said about immigration at a factory in Derbyshire.

“I’m in favour of having people of colour come into this country, but I think we should have it democratically controlled.”

As Politics Home editor Kevin Schofield puts it: “What the hell has the colour of their skin got to do with it?”

Labour’s Jonathan Ashworth said it was “just foul”.

Foul indeed. So foul and racist that all it will do is embolden his supporters, who think the same way.

A hung parliament is the only possible option apart from a Tory majority.

It would be messy, and probably result in another election within a year, but still less messy than a Tory majority once everyone realises what that means (eg not actually 'getting brexit done' but a looming 'no deal' Brexit all over again with a lot of Tory MPs getting cold feet and trade negotiations dominating everything for the next eight years).

A small Tory majority (less than 15 or so) would be utter chaos.

Meanwhile our planet burns.

Good thing we won last night or I might be feeling depressed.

Less messy as in no party having the numbers to govern leading to paralysis which we have already endured for quite some time, less messy as in a minority Corbyn Labour party willing to accept any demand from the SNP to get into government. Less messy as in negotiating a third withdrawal deal that will be the bestest ever despite virtually no one in the Labour party being willing to campaign for it, less messy as in holding a second EU referendum = more division more poison, less messy as in holding Indy ref 2 the price for SNP support = more division more poison, break up of the UK?, less messy as in nearly all the new governments focus being on fighting two referendums.

Additionally this idea that Corbyn/Mcdonnell, having spent a life time trying to seize control of the Labour party and realise their Socialist utopia in government would magically decide to relinquish power when they have 5 years guaranteed under the fixed term parliament act is a tad naive. Buying off the SNP a much easier option. The real choice is a minority Labour government with the SNP holding the whip hand, two more referendums, or a majority Conservative government, no referendums and the 'once in a lifetime' 2016 referendum result finally being honoured/enacted ...

Fantastic result and performance though!
