The BBC have admitted in the past that they struggle with this. Audience applicants lie that they’re a centrist, whereas in fact they’re from one of the hard line wings. The latest polls show 21% have a positive view of Corbyn, which was not borne out by the number of fibbers in the crowd. I’ve seem the reverse, with QT audiences massively skewed towards Brexit.

Nowt the BBC can do about liars I suppose.

The polls you refer to are made up of fibbers too.

Miss fandabadozie is sounding a bit breathless and over-excited. She seems to think Jezza will give her an in/out referendum. Oh, the irony :lolol:

Edit - someone has asked her about how she would deal with a 'hard border' with England......

I suppose the answer is that there will be no need for one.....if the UK does not leave the EU....although if it does....then Scotland won't be in the EU.....careful how you strategize your coalition bargaining, miss Krankie!

Well, he’ll have agree to their referendum (and no doubt imho ensuing independence), because their 45 MP’s won’t back one single Corbyn bill without it.

Is someone complaining that a BBC audience is unrepresentative because it doesn't subscribe to his rabid tory bias?

Why knew? ??? :lolol:

Incidentally Jo the liberal has been owned by the audience for backing a 'bin Brexit' position rather than offering a second referendum. As Viv Stanshall once said, sometimes you just can't win. :lolol:

Why is liberal Jo apologising about the tuition fees issue? It was a condition of the coalition. It was unavoidable. And you don't apologise for other people's 'mistakes' especially when they were simply hard choices. Pathetic.

Swinson getting destroyed by the audience and Fiona......floundering terribly now......almost embarrassing silence from the audience when she says anything (maybe the Beeb forgot to invite any Lib Dems)

Cuts both ways as I said.

NSC Remainers loath QT’s where the Brexit mob beast Remainers in the panel. Having to turn off, to avoid the pain of it all.

The only type of audience that really works, is where the broadcaster carefully selects say 100 undecided/swing voters for the long haul. Bringing them back for various TV debates. I’ve seen this.

Far better than mini-Nuremberg style soundbites by Corbyn, Johnson, Farage or McDonnell, to a furtive rent-a-mob furiously whooping at the claims of paradise on its way.

True, but the many Corbynistas on here who subscribe to a BBC tory bias conspiracy (wow!) will be confused.

I see Corbyn's latest recruit is very active on this thread tonight .. Vote for Blair ..vote for Corbyn , some people would vote for anyone as long has they had a Red rosette

They told the Beeb they were LibDems, but are card carrying Labour members. The age old ploy.

Mmmm....so Corbyn would have to offer a Joxit referendum to ensure the SNP support labour in Westminster, with a high chance the SNP would then obtain Joxit, meaning that Corbyn would instantly lose all the SNP support because foreigners cannot represent foreign regions in the HoP? Hmmm.....

The SNP can either vote with labour or vote with the conservatives in Westminster. I don't see how voting with the tories will hasten the SNP goal of Joxit. So PM Corbyn could arrange 'confidence and supply' if there is a well-hung parliament.

Anyway, come on, labour isn't really going to win the GE.

Is it? ???

I do feel for the BBC, they really can't win one way or the other as both sides accuse them of bias whatever they do.

Yes, yes I have. My explanation for supporting Corbyn now has been explained (Boris the liar must be stopped).

As usual the Prancing Ninny writes lies to promote his agenda.

Yes I did peek at his post. And that's enough of that.

I’m not sure, but it definitely wasn’t David Steel who famously said, “Go back to your constituencies, and prepare for Government.”

Sorry Jonny, it definitely was

David Steel - Wikipedia
https://en.wikipedia.org › wiki › David_Steel
David Martin Scott Steel, Baron Steel of Aikwood, KT, KBE, PC (born 31 March 1938) is a ... Steel was so confident that he felt able to tell delegates at the Liberal Assembly that year, "Go back to your constituencies, and prepare for government!

On that that last point, I’ll think you’ll find there are dozens of folk in this thread who are supremely confident of Corbyn being PM. This will be further confirmed when the 75% Corbynista’s in the audience shout down Boris from 20:30 to 21:00 hours.

The scenario I’m referring to doesn’t directly involve the Tories in any discussion. They wouldn’t have 326 seats and have no mates, so their votes are meaningless.

With say 275 Labour seats Corbyn would be in no 10, desperate to push through Brexit (you’ve always said his career has passionately sought that ... you’re correct) and the manifesto pledges. He’ll need the SNP and Lib Dems to get to the magical 326 votes. The SNP red line on that bill by bill cooperation is a second referendum by 2021. No ifs, no buts. Sturgeon couldn’t be clearer.
