Say Sepp Blatter and Michel Platini. My French colleague just showed me this article:

http://www.francefootball.fr/#!/news/2011/01/19/134855_une-refonte-du-calendrier.html

I don't know whether there's an English version somewhere. They really haven't got a clue have they?!

The busy schedule with all the coaches and selectors will complain he soon disappear? That is certainly the wish of Sepp Blatter and Michel Platini, who are about as Sport Bild on Wednesday to unveil a proposed overhaul. "As an advisor to Sepp Blatter (Fifa president, ed), I had proposed in 1998 an international calendar from February to November (...) but was refused because of opposition from Italians and Spaniards who feared the heat, summer, "said UEFA President German magazine.
The World in March, holidays in January?

Main novelty international competitions (Euro and World) will no longer occur in the summer but in February and March. The next seven months (mid-March to late October) would go to national championships, while the last six weeks of the year (early November to mid-December) would be dedicated to qualifying matches selections. Finally, until mid-January, the players could see four full weeks of rest.

"Not to threaten reelection" of two men, scheduled for spring, the idea should be presented as next summer. Unless by then, the project falls into the water, under pressure from the clubs, which resent certainly not playing in the heat in July and August. Besides the problems of audience levels and attendance in the stadiums. (With AFP - Press-Sports Photo)

if they change, why not is to see

AC not worry this will never schedule from March to November
Championships ever "Southeast Europe" (Italy Spain Portugal Greece Turkey), agree to play by 50 ° juilliet or August
ElCamorr January 19 at 14:15

The calendar is already very well prepared. No interest to change. Besides, if he prefers benefit the World Cup in Qatar that will last two months (they want to put it in the winter) rather than the major European leagues. They have rather than delete the League Cup.

but leave the international cut the summer because it was this time there will have more fervor because I see no winter in front of giant screens to support France and I see myself not going to see a championship game in a stadium 35 ° c and people go on vacation is more to this period! to stop charges

Thanks Google Translate

I havent checked to see if it makes sense though!

No surprise that those 2 crooks have come up with such a daft idea of moving the season. Surely it's just coincidence that doing this would facilitate holding the world cup in the mega rich country of Qatar?!

Has there ever been any evidence of the crook Blatter coming up with a good idea, or doing anything useful for the game of football?

The first useful thing he will do is to leave and make sure he closes the door behind him!

How would you actually realign the seasons to start in March when the current ones haven't even finished by then? The seasons obviously can't overlap. So would there need to be a nine month gap between the last old-style season and the first new-style season to allow for a March start?

I doubt they've thought about it in that much detail, they don't exactly make a habit of it with most other things. If that were to be the case though, it would see countless clubs go bust, having to pay wages with no money coming in through the gate for nine months.

Yes, taking the world cup to Qatar in mid-Summer is KWALITEEE!

Hottest average temperatures in Qatar peak at around 41 Celsius in June and July. Of course, that doesn’t reflect what it is really like to be out in the sun in the middle of the day when temperatures can reach or pass 50 degrees Celsius.

It’s also worse in the city, where air-conditioners pump cold air into the houses but hot air into the city.

Not that the World Cup would take place in June or July. That would be MADNESS

They have been thinking about having a twelve month season, where ONLY the FIFA tournaments would be permanent fixtures, that individual associations would have to work around
