we have lost a hell of a lot of goodwill and getting them back is going to be the trick...perhaps we dont want to, just encourage the youngsters to go and bring their parents.

I dont envy our marketting dept at all.

Problem is youngsters even more so these days want to be part of gang, part of something succesful e.g Chelsea, Man utd , Arsenal If parents have no intrest in the Albion that coupled with the cost of Withdean and the fact they can stick the kids in front of Sky makes it one hell of a job to attract youngsters to the Albion - Will Falmer make a difference - i hope so but i wouldn't like to be to sure.

Just what I was thinking - what a bunch of manic depressives. Yes that might happen now - but for every fan that has turned to another club, there are others who are simply not going because of the value for money.

Those people are not guarenteed to return with Falmer, but it is more likely than if we don't get it - so don't give up that bloody easily.

most of my friends support brighton, and a large group of us had season tickets for a number of years, untill we simply couldn't afford them any longer(daddy stopped paying for it)

i know very few people who support prem teams

it really depends what division we're in to be honest, and whether the team is doing well

an example would be the swindon game- it probably would've been near to full for that, same with the chesterfield game

some of our games in the championship would be near to full, especially the palace games, and games against big clubs

IF we made it to the prem, i'd imagine it'd be near to full pretty much every game

on average, however, i'd say 10,000-12,000 is a decent estimation

had an interesting discussion at the weekend with various nieces and nephews. The boys do go to games (although the constant getting soaked is starting to waver their appetite) and the girls would go if it could be guaranteed that the weather was dry.

I think there are many of us who could match this scenario and know at least one person they could or would take to a game if we were in a normal stadium.

Add to that the floating fans and you can see how doubling the crowd is a relatively easy initiative.
