EDDIE GUERRERO IS ALIVE ?
(The Eddie Guerrero Conspiracy)
On November 13th 2005 WWE Superstar Eddie Guerrero 'died' yet some fans claim Eddie is still alive and it was Vince McMahon's idea to have Eddie fake his death and return a few years later, the return was then cancelled and Guerrero remains in hiding. Heres the different points that have been made over the years.
1. The funeral was private with only a few dozen or so family and friends. The list of people are all related to the wrestling business. The funeral itself was ministered by SUPERSTAR BILLY GRAHAM - another wrestler and someone Guerrero is not thought to have been particularly close friends with.
2. Tribute merchandise was up for sale on the WWE website the next day, a bit quick? it's usually about a week if not more when wrestlers before or since have passed away.
3. Eddie Guerrero was mentioned in storylines for months after his supposed death, when other stars have passed
away it usually a one off and then move on.
4. There is a famous incident (you can find on youtube) where Eddie has a fake heart attack in the ring, some believe this was the original planned fake death but Eddie didn't make it look convincing enough, the second final fake death coming weeks later.
5. Eddies book and DVD released BEFORE he 'died' is even called CHEATING DEATH.
6. How could WWE get Wife Vickie and other family members to go along with insulting and disrespectful storylines so soon afterwards unless the family knew Eddie was really alive (Randy Orton saying "Eddie is in Hell" knowing Eddie is a deeply religious man, 'Widow' Vickie having a love story line with Alberto Del Rio, Blowing up Eddies Car to name just a few.)
7. Bringing Eddie 'back from the dead' after fooling even mainstream media would have been hugely controversial but would have made worldwide headlines but after one of Eddie's closest friends in WWE Chris Benoit murdered his wife and son and then commited suicide WWE and its 'attitude era' was put under a very bad spotlight, was Eddies comeback then cancelled for good by Vince.
8. With Eddie left in limbo did Vince then have to pay him MORE to stay in hiding and make promises to give his family more/bigger parts in WWE ( Daughter Raquel Diaz is now a performer in WWE and wife Vickie Guerrero is currently Smackdown general manager)
9. Interestingly the Wrestler Sin Cara, who made his WWE debut in 2011 (six years after Eddies 'Death) was told he had to have in his contract that he had to occasionally allow other performers to play the part of Sin Cara with it being shared between Luis Urive and Jorge Arias. When either man was given the night off they would assume the other was playing the part but some claim that on occasion Eddie Guerrero has played the part of Sin Cara. All 3 men are the exact same height and are similar build and also Sin Cara has similarities in his wrestling moves to Guerrero. If Eddie is still alive it'd make sense that he would be desperatly missing the action and the fans and this would be the perfect way that he could perform and get one last thrill before disappearing again without anyone else knowing (not even the other 2 Sin Caras).
so is Eddie Guerrero still in hiding and forever on the WWE payroll to stay out of the way ? we sure hope so
