Noticing loads of Dutch numberplates around Sussex this summer - far more than any other foreign car. Anyone any idea what's got the Dutch flocking to Sussex!?
They's always come up to the Lakes every summer for that (usually a bit earlier than this though). I was chatting to one couple the other week, who had scared themselves silly with the narrowness and windiness.Hills ?
From their point of view, Sussex looks a lot like Iowa, but cheaper.Noticing loads of Dutch numberplates around Sussex this summer - far more than any other foreign car. Anyone any idea what's got the Dutch flocking to Sussex!?
Definitive word on The Dutch has to go to Mr John Dowie shirley?
'The Dutch! The Dutch!
I hate them more than dogs
They live in little windmills
And mince around in clogs'
Dignitas?Just confirmed this with my Dutch mate who's lived here ages. He says he noticed an appreciable increase recently and counted 10 Dutch cars on a journey from Seaford to Eastbourne today.
You can buy them here. They sell Sea Salt and Vinegar Kettle "chips" in my local Albert Heijn supermarket. I am a regular customer of said items.Having worked in Holland, I found that they can’t buy salt and vinegar crisps there and had to take a box every time I went there, so I guess they’re over here stocking up.
That was probably me and Mrs T visiting the mother-in-law in Swansea...I saw loads in South Wales the other week ...
