Just scrolled back....my, this is a toxic thread. I'm out.
Rumours circulating online that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are expecting another arrival. In all of the current dark times of racial and social injustice and the appalling treatment of black people in the UK and USA it us lovely to wake up to a good news story for both countries.
I didn't want to start another thread about Harry and Megan but whatever your views on her, you couldn't wish a miscarriage on anyone. It's desperately sad news.
Hope they both recover from their loss and are able to have a second child eventually.
I thought they wanted to be out of the limelight?!? Since they left they've got more column inches than Brexit.
Enough. Already.
So she can't use her position to highlight something that thousands of women & families have gone through? Poor form there.
What relevance does the miscarriage of a former US actress / former Royal Meghan Markle have to the everyday lives of women and girls in lockdown / recession / covid-hit Britain? Absolutely none.
Whatever floats your boat, personally couldn't give a shit.

In fact, if anything it's counterproductive because it's a reminder for those women in the UK struggling - in silence - with miscarriage and lockdown / covid / recession there is someone out there loaded with cash bleating about her lot, again.
Not the fact that a person with influence and wealth has experienced the exact same thing that people who are in lockdown/recession/Covid hit Brighton, but has the benefit of a platform and an audience to raise awareness of it, to those that may not have much understanding of it?
Does that mean that only people from certain backgrounds are allowed to discuss this and raise awareness of it? Will the media give two shits about someone in Crawley who has been through it, or someone in the public eye that can get people talking about it?
I'm struggling to see why anyone would see this as a bad thing, unless there's some weird, unnecessary prejudice attached to it

I’m sorry but there’s many that have suffered far worse and she isn’t raising awareness of anything other than the normal circle of life especially someone her age. Just what we’re supposed to do with this awareness is beyond me.
Sorry...the normal circle of life?
**** me.
