In a pile of football shirts
They are authentic though, the Toff shirts. They havnt bought a polo or rugby shirt and sown a badge on to make it look as real possible.

Same as the retro shirts from club stores, they arnt exactly the same, but they are authentic shirts and as close as possible to the 80s or 90s versions.

Interesting point, Toffs shirts aren't (all) authentic. The Bukta ones sold in the club store are part of the deal Toffs have to reproduce licensed Bukta shirts. I don't think their others are authorised, just that they are well past copyright issues. I spoke once with the chairman of an Irish team about the Toffs shirts of his team, and he categorically stated that the Toffs shirts were not approved/authorised/authentic, and that he did not approve of them being sold under the name of his team.

But a Toffs shirt isn't a REAL Brighton shirt, that was the point I was making, i was replying to your comment " buy the real thing or don't buy one at all"

Buzzers shirt is exactly the same and it's Nike, it's just missing the sponsor.

...just waiting for someone to pick up on the fact that I have Mark Morrison's 'Return of the Mack' on CD. Then I'm really in for it.

Phil, I see Toffs list the shirt pictured as a Brighton shirt but www.historicalkits.co.uk don't show this shirt, do you know anything about The Albion wearing these colours ?

You're saying that these are more authentic than an official Nike shirt with an official BHAFC badge ironed on.

ARE YOU WELL?

That shirt appears in a book called sometihng like "The Colours of Football" which was published in the 60s or 70s. Parts of it have been described as inaccurate, this being a case in point. I have a copy of the book somewhere but can't find it just now (mislaid in a house move a couple of years ago), when I do I'll dig the bit out.

This one doesn't doesn't have a Brighton tag and, afaik, isn't in the club shop. Is this authentic? http://www.toffs.com/brighton-1920s-retro-football-shirt

Its directly from Toffs though and Toff are actually selling Brighton shirts. Its an official shirt. Your not buying plain Toffs shirt and sowing a badge on, you are buying an official BHAFC Toffs shirt from Toffs.

Its like buying the PSG shirt (which you can) from Nike.com instead of PSG direct.

Its not that hard to get your head around.
