I can't find anything on the Brighton & Hove council website or the Sussex website... Unless I am being exceptionally dum.

I hope they get this through - it may be heresy to some but that end of the county ground is very shabby and not a great place to watch from.

Is the pub independantly owned or a brewey? I know got refurbished, was that due to a change in hands?

Odd that there is no mention on the Council website.

The club own the freehold (or building), but the tennants were not shifting, as I understood it.

Thanks. Nothing ever seems to be straight forward! I hope this is resolved as the Gilligan stand is rather tatty, as you know. Depsite many happy memories of bowling in the nets.

The Cricketers is an Ember Inn, which is a chain of pubs run by Michell and Butlers (formerly Bass). When I worked for Scream, I remember this pub being described as a goldmine.

If they're being asked to move out, then I'd imagine they're quite reluctant!
