Bull's Head in Chislehurst for the office do, local Mexican for the department do (I will personally vouch for the margaritas this evening) and probably a curry plus beer for the team do. If it's worth celebrating it's worth doing properly!

Once again, my Watch (and our wonderful, tolerant and steadfast partners) are booked into a country house hotel on Friday 14th December, for a blissfull, listless weekend away from it all. The crew will be meeting in the restaurant for full English breakfast at 09:00 hrs, followed by a round of golf then lunch and a wasted afternoon in the bar.

The laydeez, meanwhile, will be enjoying the spa, the sauna, the salon and the opportunity to slag us off ... :O

Then its into freshly pressed dinner suits for the gentlemen and posh frocks for the ladies for cocktails at 18:00 hrs in the piano bar, followed by Christmas Dinner, cheek-to-cheek dancing till the wee small hours and then bed, before back on duty at 18:00 hrs the following day.

It is, without question, the best 36 hrs of the year :whisky:

Merry Christmas, one and all :xmas:

I'm not getting too excited, but hey you never know, someones bound to make an arse of themselves and hopefully in front of or on top of the boss. I can feel a thread coming on.

An indian meal on the beach at the Club, Abu Dhabi following a trip in the Dhow (local fishing boat). Was a bit nippy at 25 degrees last year.

disneyland paris.

it was put to vote. do you want a swanky dinner and free booze or a two night over night trip to disneyland paris for your family. disneyland won. it has actually worked out cheaper than doing the whole hiring restaurant, food, drink, a gift giving ticket thing.

I don't think we're having one.

Anything we do (going out for a meal etc...) will almost certainly be after Xmas.

The Windsor Castle, some boozer just off Regent's Park. At least it serves a decent pint.

Ours is in some BARN near Guildford, finishes at midnight, and then there is a coach back to Eastleigh [which means that the coach is knack all use as I'd still have to drive home from there.] Other departments are based in Docklands and in OLDHAM. The Oldham coach will get them home at about 5am!

Unsurprisingly, take up has not been huge. I'm certainly not going. Bag of shit.
