Agree but if Zaha was to get another injury then maybe they might struggle. Wonder if Huddersfield will target him...

Not advocating it, but clearly there is an argument that taking him out for the season would do more to guarantee survival than trying to just win the game.

Absolutely, not suggesting that they 'should' target him, but I'm sure some teams might...

If he starts at Huddersfield next week, there is a real possibility of him getting crocked again.
I don't think they will target him as such, just the way they play wil put him at risk.

Match fit or not, I think Palarse need to start him in every game now. Games are beginning to run out, and they are a much better side with him in it.

Agree their fixtures aren't bad, but the pressure is on them to pick up the seemingly easy points.
Lose at Huddersfield next week and that pressure will get worse.
And they aren't the best at handling pressure.

I look at their fixtures and there’s a lot which could either way. They could lose 3 of their home ones (Liverpool, us and Leicester). They could easily win 3 (us, Leicester and WBA).

Away ones could also be tricky. Huddersfield might get at them, Bournemouth/Watford won’t be easy and Stoke might be fighting for survival still.

We can live in hope

39 points should be enough and 38 might be good enough to avoid the wire on the last weekend. It does not give much room for error or for a bad referee's decision.

I think 36 might be enough to be safe, but not to avoid the last day tension.

Stoke's last 2 are Palace At home and Swansea away.
Every chance they will still be in it by the time they play Palace.

Don’t forget that once a team is mathematically down, there is always a strong tendency to play at a higher performance level as the pressure is no longer there.
I wouldn’t want to play WBA for instance on the last game of the season, needing points.

Also players will be wanting to impress other clubs so they don't get relegated!!

Palace will easily stay up unless zaha gets injured again.

We need 3 points.

In my predictor I got WBA bottom with 22 points, then soton, stoke and Swansea around 34-36 points.

Almost exactly that here too. And we never agree on anything.

How about this......if all the teams below us draw the rest of their matches and we lose against the teams above us, West Brom and palace go down with one of stoke, saints and us (on 36 points)

 What's exactly is the point in that observation?
