I've moved from Gillette Sensor Excel to Mach 3 then Mach 3 Turbo and lastly M3 Power Nitro. Just been trying out the new Gillette Fusion blade and I'm wondering where it will end. 5 blades now...then 6? 7? 10?

A new Fusion blade gives a very close shave, thumbs up from me but damned expensive to replace...£10 for 4 blades. Ouch.

So what do other people use?

I tried that one. Cuts you five times as badly.

Not if you use foam? Or refrain from moving the blades sideways...

Wilkinson disposables 99p for ten. Or the ones from Morrisons aren't bad at just 29p for ten.

Mach 3 Turbo but I use shaving oil not gel and certainly not foam ! As it is I would say there's not a lot to chose between that and the Wilkinson Quatro which is a lot cheaper.

I was told although I haven't tried it yet that the old Gilette Triple Blades work just as well with the Turbo, anyone tried that as its a lot cheaper ?

I use Wilkinson Quatro, but did try the Fusion power this morning.

Damm good shave, as smooth as a baby's bottom.

P.s. and I use oil.

Mach 3, buy my blades of E-Bay, somewhat cheaper than Boots/Sainsbury, gives a reasonable shave with gel.

It is a crime against shaving to use anything other than Gilette.

My grandfather took Gilette out to New Zealand and I swore to him I would never use anything but Gilette.

The best a man can get.

wherever the money is
I tend to use A philishave coolskin as I cant be arsed with a wet shave nowadays. Only time I wet shave is if I am out on the town.

Replacable head razors are such a rip off. They lure you in by pricing the razor and 'two free heads' cheaply, then sting you for replacement heads.

Bic Comfort 2 Plus disposables are the dogs. You can get a good five shaves from each one, and at £2.97 for ten you're laughing.
