Very light snow here in The Heath today, not settling though.

Quite astoundingly it looks like we may see a little more light and transient snow before the winter finally releases its grip.

High percentages Wed/Thurs and even Friday for some snow. Still no sign of warmth until the following week either.

i have had enough, at wits end, want shorts and flips flops, want to sit in the garden with a beer, want to put the fleeces and coats, scarfs, gloves back in the loft, but I just cant..........its so depressing now....where are the bloody leaves on the trees.....should be out by now

Savouring the second day of completely clear blue skies, almost forgot what it looks like and so good for morale after weeks of gloom.

Great to be working outside with the sun on my back. Still chuffing cold though with a stiff easterly that won't die down.

It's bloody depressing. This time last year I remember being sat having a BBQ on days off during a mini heatwave. It reached 24 degrees in Sheffield roughly around now if memory serves me correctly.

Meh, and no signs of it changing eh.

Mad really. Seeing everyone hunched up in town with hats and gloves walking along bodies stiff and braced in the cold.

Not right is it. When will we get double figures ?
