Very fine and light snowfall all day- probably added about half an inch at most in Sullington.

Due to work in Canterbury & Faversham on Tuesday and Wednesday so weather reports from any Kentish NSCers would be welcome.

Our garden Winter Wonderland has just been somewhat spoilt by seeing a brown rat scavenging on the ground below our bird feeders. Chased the bugger away but obviously need to dig out my air rifle..... :(

grow some balls......this is awesome weather. off out sledging now..............better than sex

A rare event one day every two years ?

It's now just stopped falling in Firle after amost seven hours of steady, but unflumping snowfall. The countryside is a delightful white-out, but the roads are in a remarkably good state. The dog is well walked and all is well with the world.

It is the second heaviest snow event in North Southwick in the last 40 years now. 5 inches of lying snow in the back garden.

Yes. Very thin cloud now, hasn't really settled all day. Roads and pavements fine around town centre and seafront just very wet

1 inch Southwick seafront, 1 mile north and 200 feet up and 5 inches here. That is enough to satisfy anyone. Oh er madam.

Stopped now in The Hill.

Thank f***, at least some of our work shy lazy bastards may make it in tomorrow now, in fact I'll pick the twats up myself.

Been very persistent but not heavy snow all day here in West Kent. Probably a couple of inches already on the ground from the last couple of days and now another three or four inches on top of that. Snow more or less stopped though and little more predicted. Roads have been well gritted but looking slippy out there. Hope that helps Jakarta.

Last few flakes coming down now. May nip out the back and see how much we've had.
