We all say they don't want to play for England, the Premier League and club chairman say they want us to win the World Cup and the players say money isn't that important, easy then:

Each English player should have a choice, you can sign your England contract, which has no monetary value but it does mean you play for your club and are available for your country. It also has a clause which states you can only play 30 competitive games per year.

This contract sits legally before your club contract.

The player wouldn't be worth as much per year, say down 25% or so, but money doesn't matter, does it?

The Premier League will see this as positive as we will have a better chnace of winning the World Cup, also suits Club Chairman?

The 30 games will allow all Internal England players to have a month and a half off, with a two week England camp?

The public would then know who is serious about wanting to play for England and support England.

Simples!

Players can only play 30 games? Premier league clubs are not going to sign any players on those terms.

They wouldn't agree with the players being available for England either.

The whole too may games is a red herring. It doesn't seem to have done Tevez, amongst others, too much harm.

I think it would be beneficial for players to be loaned out for a month to teams in the top division of other leagues. They would see other styles of football and maybe it will help them perform better on the global stage. I would love it if they did a month on/month off.

August - English team
September - Italian team
October - English team
November - French team
December English team
January - German team
February - English team
March - Spanish team
April - French team
May - English team

It of course wont happen as it is a rubbish idea and would mean that players do not play for their parent club.

I'm inclined to agree with this comment. Until I see convincing statistical evidence to support this then I'll be, well, unconvinced.

Pele used to play a huge number of games a season (usually around 70, but in 1959 he played 103 times for Santos and Brazil), although admittedly many were friendlies.

He was quite successful. Perhaps we should be playing more games?

The crazy thing is that if any of these money grabbing opportunist footballers could shake their sorry arses off for seven games at a World Cup Finals and win the bloody thing they would be able to dine out on it for the rest of their lives!
