A good read, but I thought the best part was the opening sentence of the last paragraph......"It may feel a little alien to begin with and I dare say the first few visits will seem like away games.."

Originally, like many others, I wanted the Donny game to be my first visit. Impatience, of course, got the better of me and I've seen the Eastbourne Borough game...next up...Spurs. Now I'm glad I am seeing both these games first. By the time the Donny game arrives, I'm hoping the Amex will feel like home.

Nice blog Richie. Glad I decided to go the Spurs game now to acclimatise myself to the new surroundings, and I think you may well be right when saying the first games will feel like away games.
