I know the message is "watch out for fake stuff from non-mainstream media" but to me it rather just proves "if we can use this in propaganda purposes, we will, no hesitation".

Totally disrespectful, no wonder the country is in a mess.

Fair point, but flip it . . .the Queen is condescending and patronising to the vast majority.

FWIW I'll watch both and have a giggle. its TV, its fiction, it's bollocks, its entertainement. most definitely not to ba taken seriously

I think the voice gives the game away which is a good thing. People will realise it is not really her Maj but it will also educate people on deepfake videos

I'm sure it would have been relatively easy to make it even more realistic. No doubt there are people who will be offended and/or fooled . . . the kind of people who think Spitting image is real.

Having served in the RAF for 30 years and then on the Queens Flight squadron for a couple of years I can assure you HM is far from condescending.

Probably not the best choice of word, Its impossible for her to be in anyway intimate with the vast majority of the population.

I just find ther RF's role as archaic as our politics in the real modern world.

Just respect the fact that HM and elderly lady has not retired and since 1952 has given her life to this country/commonwealth.

You might not like her but I don’t know of any other person on Earth who has given so much to the UK so for Channel 4 to mock her is in my opinion totally disrespectful.

Appreciate where you’re coming from, but in these more enlightened times I’d rather see someone from, say, the Windrush Generation give a Christmas broadcast as opposed to her maj, maybe one of the Birmingham Six. Who honestly wants to watch her read out words written for her from an autocue? She’s a hollow conduit, a vessel, nothing more.

Who still watches the Queen's Speech,
I've been trying to recall the last time I watched one, and it was probably the early 80s.

I won't be watching the alternative one either.

Even in these so-called enlightened times, I am pretty certain that far more people would prefer to see the Queen that any of your two alternatives.

David Attenborough should give a speech . . .can't think of anyone who wouldn't listen to him. Apart from swivel eyed god botherers/flat earthers.
