Yes, very good. It wasn't me that re-raised the transfer window but now that the Roar and PB have....

When asked about whether taking Krul on a loan had limited our options, there was a flat assertion that Janssen "was never available on a loan". It seems odd given that a) BHAFC were in no position to inquire about a loan deal and b) he went out on loan to Fenerbahce a week later. (Where he can't stop scoring apparently). All water under the bridge. As you were.

Not odd at all - it's pretty straight forward. You're making out that we'd only decided to look at Janssen's availability after we'd secured Krul. That, of course, is utter nonsense. The Albion knew exactly his status regarding his availability. We made a direct approach to Spurs at the last minute because we'd missed our previous targets who were higher up the 'wants list' than Janssen. If Spurs were interested in loaning him out, it implied they felt he had a future there. He didn't - he was only made available on sale.

The fact that Janssen turned us down lumbered Spurs with a player they no longer wanted. After August 31, seeing as a loan to an English club was no longer an option, he had little choice but to get a loan abroad.

Could we have secured Janssen on a loan deal on the last day of the Window, had we had a spare place? I would suggest we can't know the answer to that. Hardly nonsense.

This week's show features the GDC's own Piers Benjamin, pllus former Sussex seamer (and Albion fan) Lewis Hatchett. Arsenal, Kick It Out, respect for officials, paralympics, plus Hatchett's own story which forced him to retire from professional cricket.

The podcast, available from Audioboom, iTunes and at www.albionroar.co.uk will be about 75 minutes, rather than the usual 58.

Podcast now up. Up for discussion are the Arsenal away match, including talking about Matt Ryan and Lewis Dunk; equality and homophobia issues across football and cricket; respect for officials and rules; and Lewis is open about Poland Syndrome, which affected the development of his upper body, and ultimately accounted for his early exit from first class cricket - and his plans for Tokyo 2020.

Plus we have Shirt of the Week - a minger.

You can also get us on Audioboom - go to https://audioboom.com/channel/albion-roar - and have a delve.

HOUSEKEEPING UPDATE

We have moved our podcast host from iTunes to AudioBoom. In the great scheme of things, that shouldn't make any difference to those who already subscribe via iTunes - you'll still receive the podcast automatically. You will also still be able to manually download and stream too.

You can do all of these things here... https://audioboom.com/channel/albion-roar

Plus, you can always listen to us on Radio Reverb on 97.2FM, online at www.radioreverb.com or on DAB+ on Saturdays at 12pm and Mondays at 9am.

The Albion Roar website will be kept up to date for those who listen via that platform.

For those who have previously had issues downloading the podcast, hopefully this will clear all the problems. You can download / stream / subscribe via your regular podcast app, or via the AudioBoom app itself.

Any problems, let us know.

I quite enjoyed this weekends show featuring a cricketeer (and wow, what an amazing bloke!) because of the international break. Don’t follow cricket especially but was interesting nonetheless. Howzat for a review?! :)

Martin Perry is guest on the show this week.

IKEA at Lancing, Albion In The Community, life in the PL, 20 years at the club - all on the agenda.

Anyone else like to ask him anything sensible? A tall order for NSC, I know - but fire away anyway...
