I’m not entirely sure about that - I actually think his ego is so large and his narcissism runs so deep, that he can’t fathom why everybody doesn’t think he is the ‘greatest ever’ and the ’only one that could ever’. I think he is a fully paid up subscriber to his own narratives. With Trump, every lie becomes a necessary, self-validating step in the process of building his self image as Trump the Victim and a Trump the Demagogue until the Fake Trump is the Real Trump (or at least until the DoJ catches up with Fake Trump )

Well it seems that Alexander Smirnov who made up all the "Bidens took bribes" and all the fake stories around the Bidens and a Ukrainian company called Burisma, the basis for which the republicans launched an impeachment against Biden and caused hugey damaging stories just prior to the election, has in fact got all of the fake info directly from the Russian intelligence services.

A lot of dodgy assumptions in your post. Fox's veiwing figures collapsed after tucker Carlson left. Fox is seen as corporate propaganda on the MAGA right and they didn't have that kind of influence anyway.

Two Congressmen, Comey & Jordan should be criminally investigated for pushing their own investigation of Biden and his son when there was never anything to the whole causes for the impeachment. They knew there was nothing there to charge the Bidens with and yet pushed it so when voters were choosing someone to vote for in the presidential race they would think of Biden & Trump both being guilty of crimes. No crimes at all for Biden. Lock them up!!!!

Not sure what is being assumed here? - Fox News was Trump’s mouth piece up until 2020 so yes, in that respect, they were influential but they always had an editorial choice. There was no love lost between Fox News and Trump after the 2020 election.



When Fox News got sued by Dominion Voting Systems in 2020 for airing Trump’s lies about a fraudulent election, the relationship between DT and Fox finally fell apart. Fox News backed off Trump after that and Tucker Carlson was sacked as a condition of the settlement between Dominion and Fox. (Which is why TC hates DT with a vengeance apparently).

Trump is no longer the favourite son that he used to be with Fox - it doesn’t surprise me they are backing off live broadcasts of Trump’s rallies - they are not wanting another $750m lawsuit for airing the same lies they were sued for in 2020. No media company is that stupid - even those who peddle right wing MAGA propoganda.

"Trumps lies" you mean claims about the Dominion voting machines, and yes overstepped the mark. There has always been an uneasy relationship between Trump and Fox news. Tucker Carlson has been touted as a potential VP and has been regularly seen with him, this leftwing conspiracy theory about Tucker hating Trump is pure propaganda.

Speaking at an event for black conservatives in South Carolina ahead of Saturday's Republican primary, Trump in an unbridled fit of racial stereotyping compared his being charged with criminal offences to the historic legacy of prejudice against African-Americans in the US legal system. He also said he ‘knew a lot of black people’ because they built his hotels/casinos.

How can he not see how wrong and racist that is on so many levels - yep Trump, your alleged crimes and assaults on women that you are being ‘victimised for’ is comparable to those who have been subjected to appalling institutionalised racism for hundreds of years because of the colour of their skin.
