I put Crawley Dingo on ignore some time ago, nothing against them, but I think I remarked at the time that they were too far down the rabbit hole for reality to reach them. They’ve allowed this stuff to become part of their identity, and to criticize it, in their head, is effectively to criticize them.

I can see that whatever they’ve said most recently has caused a lot of well-meaning people to try and direct them back toward reality, but I’m not sure it can be done.

All I want to say is tread gently, my personal view is that they’re incredibly misguided, but I honestly don’t see how they come back from where they are without suffering some kind of breakdown. At the moment I’m guessing they’re very much doubling down.
I think it is very evident that it won't be logic, facts and reasoned discussion that will bring them back. Way too far gone.

I hope something does though.

Sadly in this case it is not what we tell each other that matters; it is what we tell ourselves. This person is immovable in what s/he has told her/himself. Those evidence free beliefs have morphed into ’alternative facts’ and that’s become entrenched and beyond reasonable debate. Dangerous and apparently quite wide spread in some US States.

A few years ago, Pew Research, which is famously non-partisan, did a review of the ideological requirements of the US left and right. And they found they agreed on between 85% and 90% of all major issues, despite their outward personal perception that everything about the other side was reprehensible.

Who’d have thunk it?

I would be very surprised if that is the case for MAJOR issues e.g. healthcare, gun control, support for Ukraine, social benefits, tax regime.

Actually according to Trump, who has said the US President should have total immunity from any crime he commits, correct? the whole situation could be solved if President Biden had Trump assassinated by Seal Team Six. President Biden would have immunity and Trump would be gone.

What do you Trumpers think of that?

Ok I'm going through it,

"It was unclear whether the same test was applied anywhere other than the swing states in question (to prove a unique phenomenon had happened), along with data validity, accuracy, and discussion about other possibilities that could explain the findings."

"unique phenomenon" lol what?

"he entirety of the claim rests on cell phone location data, which doesn’t remotely show that people were actually using the drop boxes"

He never said it did, it just showed their routes, 5 times a night, video cameras caught them stuffing drop boxes.

"Moreover, drop boxes tend to be in high-traffic areas such as public libraries, shopping malls, municipal buildings, or schools. For example, a map of drop boxes in the five metro Atlanta counties of Fulton, DeKalb, Cobb, Gwinnett and Clayton shows that all are clustered in busy locations likely to have high cell phone activity:"

"tend to be" the ones being stuffed were the most remote, one on the edge of a car park obscured by trees. And it goes on, not much of a debunking.

So when the people were complaining that black people were being killed by the police for no reason, what they were really doing, was trying to force out the government by force?
The word you are looking for is rioting, and killing people.

This concerns the methods used Data broking,

"the very fact that they were able to buy this much personal location data on hundreds of thousands of people’s lives, over a span of many months leading to election day, is appalling. "

Here they have a valid point and I agree with them, but it is what it is.

I have no idea why that poster has so much attention.

Interesting point as i would agree with you. Its because even though there are more Rightwing people in the county most have been culled or have left NSC, you can thank the mods for that. This scarcity leads to pile-ons and others using the poster as a foil for their humour. This discourages others from voicing alternative opinions.

The other reason is a lack of MAGA "bogeymen" allows the opinionated virtual signallers a rare target. the Topic of this thread is about playing the player not the ball, nothing on policies or issues. So with that I'm out of this thread unless it issue related.

You missed out the point that nobody was picked up on surveillance video visiting a drop box more than once.
