I'm amused that their away match travel is described as a "massive trip"...

They changed their manager at the start of December and the new bloke seems to be a fan of Rushworths from an interview the other week...........or alternatively -

He was injured for most of his time at Hull - but even before his injury he wasn't getting any game time. Don't fancy leaving him there to waste the rest of a very important season bench-warming.
He gets his news from MSN, will be up to date soonThey changed their manager at the start of December and the new bloke seems to be a fan of Rushworths from an interview the other week.
I was in same school year but different school but knew him well from Sussex teams etc. He snapped his leg (break and dislocation of ankle) playing footie for your school team! Fair play to him for still making itWent to school with George and played with him a few times in the school team, good to see him doing well after all he's gone through.
Yes, and quite happy to put up links from last week on to NSC which are relevant to quite a long running question. Thank you for posting other (newer) rumours which may or may not be more accurate - it all adds to the discussion. He gets his news from MSN, will be up to date soon

Another loanee review from The Albion -
Interesting about the GKs - they mention Beadle, McGill and "the final member of Albion’s shot-stoppers out on loan – Carl Rushworth ................" - so what about Scherpen? Is he on the move? Being sold? Coming back to the Albion so that Steele can be sold or Cahill sent on loan?
He's still out on loan though - that "final member" is what had me thinking. O'Mahony, Nilsson and BBB all got a mention, although injured.I thought Scherpen was out injured?
Consensus among Vale fans seems to be that he had the talent, but form was patchy and didn't like to track back enough. Not necessarily given a fair crack at it by the management.Benicio Baker-Boaitey has returned from Port Vale: https://www.port-vale.co.uk/news/benicio-baker-boaitey-returns-brighton
I assume we've recalled him but it's not clear.
A ringing endorsement maybe - but they don't seem too sorry to lose him! Hasn't had a lot of game time - most, if not all, of his appearances were as a late sub - but also missed a fair few games through injury.Benicio Baker-Boaitey has returned from Port Vale: https://www.port-vale.co.uk/news/benicio-baker-boaitey-returns-brighton

To be honest, if a loan is not working out the box, there is little incentive for the loaning team to persevere when they could be giving minutes to permanent players.Consensus among Vale fans seems to be that he had the talent, but form was patchy and didn't like to track back enough. I'd forgotten about him. It's frankly unbelievable that he's been at the Albion for 3 years now...Benicio Baker-Boaitey has returned from Port Vale: https://www.port-vale.co.uk/news/benicio-baker-boaitey-returns-brighton
