That is probably because he has now gone on loan to Dundee
Really? Wow - that's news to me! When did that happen?

Whatever, it's good news - the Salford loan was a waste of everything.

Edit: I've just gone on to the Albion website to have a look! Good to see Tsoungui's got a loan too, that's one I've been thinking he needs for a while - pity there's not one for Offiah too though.

No, most of ours are youngsters out getting game time and experience before moving on, either to our first team, or to a good career at a lower level - not overage expensive players we don't know what to do with, don't want anybody else to own them in case they turn ut to be good, but don't want them anywhere near the first team.

World of difference.

Two Brighton U21 loanees now at Crawley (Jenks and Spong). I wonder if they'll get much game time - or if Crawley will ever trust their CM to be run by two Brighton youngsters together?

How many overage expensive players do Chelsea have out on loan, just out of interest ?

Haydon Roberts under the spotlight, in a positive way, at Derby...

After the thrilling last 30 minutes at Goodison (where the ex-Brighton shitehousery derby was fought out in the true spirit of shitehousery!) it's potentially exciting times for our UK based loanees this this afternoon - only two of them (Richards and Spong) don't feature at all.
Championship: Reda Khadra and newly reborn hot-shot Aaron Connolly both start.
League 1: Rushworth in goal for Lincoln as usual, while at Pride Park it's another Brighton derby - Haydon Roberts (LB) vs. Jensen Weir (CM).
League 2: Jenks, Miller and Turns all start; Beadle has to be content with the bench at Crewe; Leonard also dropped to the bench.
Scottish PL: A first start for young James Furlong at LWB for Motherwell.
Scottish Championship: Tolaj on bench-warming duties for Dundee against Hamilton Accies.

Good luck to all them them - good to see so many of them getting game time.

Correction: The Miller starting at CF for Doncaster isn't our Miller, it's Donny's own George Miller. Todd Miller not in matchday squad; apologies.

A little bit of feedback from Lincoln City fans on Carl Rushworth, from yesterdays match:

Rushworth. 7. Watching him close up from behind the goal shows you how good he is. Gets in great starting positions and quick feet means he catches or punches away dangerous crosses. Great distribution today.
Rushworth - 7- Didn’t have a lot to do in terms of saves, but his control of the area and his distribution were superb. Sign of a class player - he makes it look easy.
Rushworth 8. Excellent - didn't put a foot wrong, and his distribution was good too.

Looks like the lad's doing a bit of a Sanchez ........but there's always one...........

Rushworth. 6.5 - Nowt much to do.

Oh well ..................

The irony is that Sanchez didn’t set the world alight, which made Potter’s surprise call up all the more surprising. Huge credit to Potter for taking a chance on him over Ryan, one which has paid off massively for us.
