What ever happened to Darren Freeman?
He had his moments but he was a good player.
Super Rod Thomas, the big DRUM, Southern FM tyring to do a Mexican Wave, the guy that always screamed like a girl at the top of his voice whenever the opposition had a corner.

£18 was the most expensive ticket
It was the novelty wasn't it? Plus we were back in Brighton. Also it was hard to get a ticket, and because it was hard and they were scarce people wanted them more. Having a ticket gave you a bit of social cachet a bit like having tickets to a sold-out concert. The club could probably have charged a little more then and got away with it; the laws of Supply and Demand and all that. There was a real atmosphere in the first few years that made the whole experience almost comical.
Trouble is now it is the norm and the norm aint fun
