You probably mean accurately directing at somebody rather than hit aimlessly up the park. Whilst his kicking has improved Kuipers has never been able to direct the ball to a specific point, this was why Henderson and Flinders were preferred, both were comfortable on the ball and could make decisions quickly then aim and direct the ball to specific point on the pitch. Some of Henderson's balls did go into touch but that was because he was usually trying to aim at somebody on the touchline 40 or 50 yards away and sometimes he was trying to do it too quickly.

In the modern game this is what managers are looking for in good keepers regarding their kicking, accurate and comfortable on the ball, neither of which Kuipers is - watch him tomorrow when on the ball and look at the time he takes kicking, he knows its his weak point so he methodically and deliberately kicks in order to ensure he gets a good range rather than looking up and aiming at a particular area of the pitch.
