just got back and i would make the following points:

1. Next year, I would keep of that side, Kuips and Whing...the rest of them are not fit to wear the shirt

2. Are the players happy to go down without a fight? That was totally and utterly gutless and if any players happen to stray on to here, YOU WERE f***ing DISGRACEFUL TODAY.

3. ( to the management team)What have you done to seb carole? Where is the player a few weeks ago that attacked defenders...HAVE YOU TOLD HIM TO STOP ATTACKING?

4. (To Russel Slade) What is the point in humping the ball to Owusu when after 10 minutes you could tell he wasnt going to beat the Centre half?

Finally, to the fans.....Tremendous effort for the first half...great to see so many there.....but those pansies on the field smashed all the enthusiasm out of us.

Would add the following:

1. Cox as well please, ran his socks off today if you take him out that team we have nobody capable of creating chances.

2.true

3.Seb Carole just needs to join a long list of players who seem to have turned into absolute donkeys this year: Elphick, Virgo, Carole, Livemore, Davies (I've watched him a few times before and he looked a decent player), Cox.

4. Why was Loft on the right? Why was no one looking to feed off the knock downs from Owusu if that was the game plan?

4 cont. It is a tad disturbing that Loft started on the right, especially when Slade hasn't worked with him previously. No doubt that decision was made by White/Booker 'o gaffer stick Lofty on the right' similar to the 'o gaffer virgs can play anywhere stick him in the centre of midfield against scunthorpe'.

Can't we just send these threads to Mr Knight so he can understand the depths of despair amongst the fans...

Well, if we lose at hereford which I thoroughly expect, the gate for swindon will hopefully tell him just how f***ed off we all are.

I recon that could be around the 4k mark

Well said......was there myself and it was a PATHETIC and EMBARRASSING performance. MKD did just enough in the first half to kill the game off ( they knew two goals were more than enough ) and then coasted the whole of the second half.
We're supposed to be in the run-in to survival but we weren't even competitive. The three of us in the car going back agreed that apart from Whing ( well done mate for having the guts and character to keep fighting ) and Kuipers, the rest might as well have not turned up.
Dicker ( words fail me ! ) and Davies ( the worst forward I have ever seen in a Brighton shirt ) are an insult to the word " professional "
Owusu, with only the keeper to beat, passed gently to him, an effort so appalling that the late Dame Edith Evans would have made a better fist of it.
The rest of it was ' hoof, hoof, aimless hoof ' and a standard that was barely conference level. The midfield is so embarrassingly bad that I just cringe when any of them get the ball ( and yes, I include Cox in that...for all his apparent busy running, he is so talentless, that I laugh at his pathetic efforts to be creative. )
I had hoped that we would go down fighting but it would appear that we are going down with a whimper, bathed in a lather of mediocrity.
Christ, what have these men done to this side, which started the season with high hopes. Adams appalling legacy ( I'm sorry but ' Legend ' don't make me laugh...I don't want to see the man's name again ) is Craig Davies...but its not his fault...just another example of the most appalling misjudgement and mismanagement that have epitomised most of this season.
As for Russell Slade...he's in a no lose situation. The fans aren't blaming him at the moment...they reckon the damage has already been done and injuries etc are making his job almost impossible. If we get relegated, then he'll either go, with no damage to his CV or he will be given a chance to rebuild next season. Myself, I think Slade ' talks the talk ' and if you judge him on his record since he took over...well, it aint good enough.
Thats it, lots of anger and frustration in this post ( and I've probably been unfair to certain players but thats how I feel )...now where's that glass of whiskey.

I actually think many of the players did try their hardest today but unfortunately their best is simply not good enough. MK Dons coasted after their 2nd goal and toyed with us. Our midfield ran around a lot but were never close enough to tackle, intercept the ball or even close down the opposition. Dickers misplaced pass to Carole near the end was the sign of a tired player with little ability and no confidence.

Most of the players today are only good enough, at best, for Div 2.

Very well said Dave. I have to say coinciding with point 3 that i went ballistic at Carole today. He picks the ball up and runs at teams and you think ok go on beat him and get a cross in but no. every dam time he stops a plays around with the ball giving the defenders time to get back and the man marking him time to tackle him. His performance was just not good enough and the basic errors he made were so tactically inept.

We're nothing lets be honest, we can't even play our own long ball game to an average standard.

I agree with the origional post in that Whing and Kuipers are the only players fit to wear the shirt.

And your getting booed off by your OWN fans AWAY from home, It says it all.

Didn't go today and am glad that i didn't, just can't be bothered anymore with this season as the players just seem happy to be going down with a wimber.

I worked out through ticket stubs that i have kept in a scrapbook that i have spent £790 on just match tickets alone, hate to think what the total bill would be with away travel cots and food and drink added on to a final total for this season. I've have got to the point where i've had enough this season and intend to not spend a penny more watching this side...
Will attend the three remaing home games as its on my season ticket but that will be my lot, a massive overhall or season tickets being massively slashed in price probabily won't tempt me to re-new.
Basically if the players can't be SEEN to show that they care then why should i bother spending my hard earned and waste one of my two days off?

Nice to see you & your good lady today Dave (especially as it was on the trudge away from a rubbish day out in a complete shit-pit of a place). One of the very few highlights on a day - & a place - that I never want to experience again. Glad you both got home safely.

ps You're spot-on with your take on the game btw. Wish you weren't, mind...
