Good? How many times did our players get hacked and impeded? It seemed that Jarrett and Carole were fair game for chopping down tonight with no worries of being carded whatsoever.
What about that terrible decision to penalise the forward for having the temerity of letting their keeper climb all over him?

My first reaction was that it was a penalty. All will be revealed tomorrow when we see it on the tv.
its because we were losing that the crowd started bellyaching. The ref was fine.

Bollocks. He didn't give US the blatant penalty, that they then broke from to score.
He didn't give us half the free kicks we should have had, when time and again Carole or Jarrett were hacked down, or when the centre halves climbed all over Andrew and Davies. He DID give them a penalty for NOTHING.

The fact of the matter is that Peterborough took the lead twice due to poor officiating. Their first goal should have been chalked off for the chap who was offside in the middle of the goal throughout, yeah, I know he didn't touch it but he was certainly interfering with play where he was. The penalty was extremely soft, it didn't look like Virgo touched Boyd, just that he lost his footing as he cut back - it was notable that nobody appealed for it.
Overall I felt that, despite the poor defending for the first and fourth goals, the Albion put on a good performance. Ultimately though, the officials have cost us what would have been a well deserved point.

My thoughts exactly, If the ref can give a penalty for that then we should've got one in the first half.

I got it right then! From E block in the south stand. Which makes me think how the f*** can a qualified official give it as a pen from a matter of YARDS!?

Looked to me like Boyd genuinely slipped with nobody near him and wasn't playing for the penalty but the ref gave one anyway. Not seen it on the telly yet, mind.

... and if the ref had seen the incident from the north side you could maybe understand the decision, but actually he saw it from a similar angle to me, and a damn sight closer, which makes the decision even more baffling.

It's the ref's first year at league football level. He was non-league last season.
He's not fit for Sunday league imo - all over the shop tonight! Did Fergie Jnr. pick his own officals this evening I wonder? Like father, like son!
