That player to score next goal free holiday

Not sure if this one has been on here but I think this freeby holiday to Italy for the next scorer is not helping our chances of scoring. Would CKR of passed the ball instead of shooting when he had 2 players who were in a better chance of scoring? To me it was a case of trying to win the holiday at any cost?
