..unless Liverpool somehow pull it out of the fire. One of their favourite songs has been slaughtered.

Everton, Man City and Man Utd already on the case this week.

"Steve Gerrard, Gerrard, he slipped on his f***ing arse, he passed it to Demba Ba, Steve Gerrard, Gerrard".

Oh dear.

Oh dear is correct and it will be a real shame too!

Gerrard epitomises everything every true fan would love to have at their football club;
Quality, skill, passion, leadership, loyalty (ok he nearly joined Chelsea once, many many years ago but he didn't), a gentleman of the game and deserves success for what he puts in.

You don't hear teams singing about Giggs but Gerrard is a target for others, it is purely out of jealousy that he doesn't play for their team, after all, the boo boys don't sing songs about bad players do they?

He didnt slip on his arse , he fell forwards and landed on his hands

I think you're going to have to give some poetic licence on that one. And it rhymes (slightly) better.

Maybe its because this 'gentleman of the game' was charged with assault and affray after being involved in an incident in which a DJ was glassed , all caught on camera and he somehow got a not guilty.

You missed out "twatted a bloke in a bar, claimed it was pre-emptive self-defence and got away with it". A key milestone in the career of any gentleman.

Are you having a laugh???? Gerrard is a gentleman of the game?? What planet are you actually on, the guys a great great player don't get me wrong, but a gentleman- couldn't be further from the truth!!

If i had the choice of Gerrard or Giggs I would pick Giggs all day long, proven winner-time and time again and the reason he doesn't get stick off opposition fans is that most football supporters have the upmost respect for him ( apart from his shagging lol!)

Not forgetting the rumours of infidelity!

It's unfortunate for Gerrard that the next fixture after his gaffe was Liverpool's arch rivals vs. the chief beneficiary of his generosity.

I hope for his sake the slip is not the main thing he'll be remembered for after he's old and grey, but it might be if they still haven't won a title in 25 years' time.

Really feel sorry for Stevie G. A true gent. When warming up v The Albion he was cheered and his response was to stop, turn and applaud the crowd. A really true gent.

And you, of course, were present in the court throughout the case, heard all the evidence from both sides and are basing your allegations in your post on a clear and concise decision you have reached after careful deliberation. I'm right, yes?
